- ENDLESS LEVELS 15 PILLARS OF ETERNITY WALKTHROUGH SERIES

Fighting the dragon here is just inviting the game to crash when he will be substantially easier later, and potentially void another achievement as well. With the dragon at Level 15 being far more overpowered than you should be attempting at this point, ONLY travel to Level 14 here to unlock fast travel (Master Staircase) then return to Caed Nua. Intermission - The Endless Paths of Od Nua It may be worth waiting until you can craft more than required just to be safe. In order to reduce the number of reloads (primarily due to death attempting an area too difficult even on Story Mode), I suggest skipping a few steps outlined below.Īct I - Encampment, Cilant Lis and Valewood ~ Raedric's Holdĭo not craft any food, potions or scrolls when advised, or apply any enchantments to avoid a current glitch.Ĭraft all 3 potions/scrolls, 5 food/enchantments any point later on, when you can do so without leaving the Crafting/Enchant menu. In my limited experience, the game was most likely to crash when repeatedly loading into an area, or visiting different areas in quick succession. It crashed for me 4 times which made it impossible to get all 5 Adventures, over 1200 kills and explore all areas.

The Series X makes this much easier with Quick Resume, however that doesn't help when the game crashes.

I was unable to get confirmation as to whether loading a saved game (or dying/loading) resets it too. Quite a number of achievements need to be won without quitting the game, this includes returning to the menu.

Is this a recipe you have to find? I ask because I didn't see in my menu before, but it's totes possible I just overlooked it.This is to serve as an update to the excellent walkthrough primarily due to the current state the game is in, and will never be fixed. I didn't know there was a perception enchant. If you haven't dumped any stats, +8 generally means your main character should be able to find or complete any task if you know what/where it is beforehand, and you plan on resting/eating a lot of food between now and then. Your main character in Act 3 also gains a special ability that adds +2 onto all stats except intelligence, usable once per rest. I believe the highest starting Perception possible is 20 or 21, meaning you don't need to craft or anything if you don't mind temporarily losing a slot to bring them along. You can place this on your main character or any of your companions, if they happen to have a higher base perception.Īlternatively, you can simply "hire" a custom adventurer from any inn and make them a detection slave. You can add Perception via enchantments on a weapon (+2), and I'm pretty sure the food and rest bonus are also capped at +2 each, meaning your total added can be as high as +6 over base. As with food, only the highest value of an item is not suppressed when there are multiple items on a character. As long as you do not rest again, you can retain an inn's bonus indefinitely, so be sure to not use Caed Nua's bed since it's generally pretty poor effects compared to almost every other inn. While there are multiple foods that can add to a stat, only the highest food effect for a stat is not suppressed. Note that each of the categories listed can only be added to a character once. Resting (There's a couple that add +2 to perception, can't remember the names or locations) Food (Best I can find is +2, but there might be a +3 recipe in the game I'm missing) You can stack up Perception from the following sources:
